Incorporated  in 1981, Ignelzi Interiors, Inc. is an Architectural Woodwork Manufacturer with expertise in
commercial, institutional and residential projects.

  Hugo Pomies - President
Born and educated in Uruguay, South America, Hugo came to the United States in 1973 as an experienced draftsman. Applying his drafting and managerial skills, he became foreman for a leading New York City shop. Hugo co-founded Ignelzi Interiors Inc. in 1981 and now oversees shop efficiency and quality control.

 

 
 

Paul Ignelzi - VicePresident
Born and educated in New York City, Paul served his cabinet making apprenticeship in New York City shops. He is a graduate and a national award-winning representative of the New York City District Council of Carpenters Labor Technical College. As a journeyman, he attended The Mechanics Institute for courses in project estimating and management. Having worked at all shop positions; machining, assembly, finishing and installation, his experience served as a springboard to a foreman’s position for a New York City Construction Company
.

In 1981, he founded Ignelzi Interiors, Inc. and now oversees estimating and project management.

 
  George Hutchins - Vice President
Born in New York City and attended The Fashion Institute of Technology, George has applied his talents to the woodworking industry for the last twenty years. He joined Ignelzi Interiors, Inc. in 1989 and manages projects of all sizes. His responsibilities include submittals, fabrication, installation schedule and complete project coordination.

 
  Darwin Pomies, Estimator
Born in Uruguay, South America and educated in the US, Darwin attended New York University and the Florida Institute of Technology. Darwin joined Ignelzi Interiors, Inc. in 1995 in the assembly department. Applying his hands-on shop experience, Darwin now estimates incoming projects and coordinates the bidding process.

 
  Brian Coughlin, Project Manager
Born and educated in New York City, Brian is a graduate of the New York City District Council of Carpenters Labor Technical College. Having served as machinist, bench man and foreman, Brian brought his talents and experience to Ignelzi Interiors Inc. in 2002. He now manages all the elements of a project from submittals to installation.

 
  Linda Ignelzi, Bookkeeper
Born and educated in New York City, Linda performed all the bookkeeping tasks for Ignelzi Interiors Inc. until 1983 when she left the company to be housewife and mother of three children. With two children in high school and one in college, Linda returned to the company in 2001 and has resumed her position.
